By: Andrea Camacho

Liberal High School had its Homecoming last week on September 27th, 2024. Besides the spirit days they had all week, Homecoming weekend started on Thursday night. They had a bonfire at the Seward County Fairgrounds. On Friday, the day started with a pep rally at 12:30 pm. After school was dismissed, classes, clubs, and community groups participated in the parade for the community at 2:30 pm. Later on at 6:30 LHS held the Homecoming Crowning Ceremony for the fall homecoming candidates. The Queen and King were Kaylie Burciaga and Suian Moncayo. At 7 pm, the football game started against Dodge City. This was the first time that Redskin Football had the chance to win the bell. They were unable to defeat the Red Demons and finished with a final score of 14-33.
