Starting the 25th of October, the Liberal High School Student Council will be sponsoring spooky days! This is a spirit week for the week leading up to Halloween. It will be from the 25th to the 31st of October. The first day is Friday which is Freaky Friday. An idea would be to get a friend (or teacher!) and dress like them and they dress like you. Choose a friend who has a different style from you! Monday will be Pajama Day. Wear your favorite Pajamas. Tuesday the 29th is Y2K Day. Wear your favorite low-rise pants or baggy pants and bright colors. Wednesday the 30th is Pink Out, wear your favorite pink attire. Thursday the 31st is Halloween costumes. Costumes must be school-appropriate and not include full-face coverings, masks, or weapons-like props.

Every year for senior rec the LHS Cheerleaders make a pillowcase for each senior in a fall activity. The pillowcase is designed by the senior or the cheerleader. The pillowcase has the student’s name, sport, class, and any other personal information/symbols that represent them. They receive the pillowcase at the senior rec pep rally.

The Liberal High School held its senior recognition last week. Senior rec started on Tuesday, October the 8th with volleyball. Volleyball has one senior on their team this year. Zoey Torres is the lone volleyball senior. Then on Thursday, October 10th, there was a pep rally. During the pep rally, the LHS Cheerleaders handed out pillowcases to the seniors who participated in cheer, dance, football, Red Med, and band this fall. On Friday, October 11th was senior rec for the Football boys. The Football team has 16 seniors this year. On Tuesday, October 22nd the boys' soccer team will hold senior rec. There are ten seniors on the team this year.
